Shit happens, but we stand behind our craftsmanship for life. We cover the labor on all guide repairs for the lifetime of the rod. Should a guide become physically damaged or broken, the replacement component will simply be billed at its current material cost.
First off — our labor is free for life. If a blank breaks, we will never charge you a dime in custom labor to build the replacement rod. We will strip what we can, prep the new stick, and completely re-wrap and epoxy your setup on us.
Custom rod blanks carry individual warranties determined entirely by their manufacturer (like Rainshadow, Calstar, or United Composites).
In either scenario, you are only responsible for the direct manufacturer processing fees, the raw cost of any components that couldn't be salvaged (like a destroyed guide or reel seat), and any necessary shipping costs to get the new blank to our bench.
** Components permanently epoxied to the broken blank — such as custom foam/cork grips, reel seats, and the thread art under-wraps — cannot be salvaged and will need to be replaced at current component costs.
** This warranty is non-transferable and applies strictly to the original owner with proof of purchase from our shop.
